Minutes of the Board of Enquiry on the subject of floods in the River Yarra. The Board was appointed by the Hon. the Commissioner of Public Works to enquire into the causes of floods in the River Yarra and to report upon the best means of preventing the same, 23 February 1864 - 6 July 1866. Chairman Mr W.W. Wardell, Members, Thos. Higinbotham and R.W. Larritt. Includes memoranda of calculations of quantities and cost of works proposed; copy of report of observations of rise and fall of flood, 15 December - 21 December 1863, at Prince's Bridge, Church Street Bridge and Johnston Street Bridge; copy of letter from Messrs Wardell, Higinbotham and Larritt to the Minister of Public Works, 20 January 1865.
